Believed to be one of the last boats built by Des Donovan and launched in 1962, "Athena" has had an interesting journey so far including serving as the mother ship for the first Whangarei to Noumea yacht race in 1964. Built of Kauri and in recent years restored to a beautiful cruising boat with a great layout. Powered by a very tidy 6LX Gardner, 5 single berths and 1 double with a large galley and ample saloon, with a cockpit and deck layout to please any fisherman. Freshly painted hull and new antifoul, she is now ready to find her new caretaker.
